2026 RENTAL RATES

The AIA is rented from June 1 to September 30 for full  weekends only from Friday at 6 p.m. to Sunday at 12 noon. Saturday events close down at 11 p.m. as the last ferry leaves Wards Island at 11:45 p.m.

Rental fee $4,000         Security Deposit $1,600

All rentals require a security deposit ($2,000) at the time of the booking to hold the date and the space. The balance/rental fee of $4,000 is due 90 days prior to the event. 

A 15% catering landmark fee is applied to all events at the Algonquin Island Clubhouse.

A $15/person corkage fee for the service of opening, pouring and serving beverages provided by the wedding party. A Special Occasion Permit must be ordered from the LCBO in advance and posted in the bar area during the event.

The AIA Clubhouse requires the Applicant to have in place, at the Applicant’s expense, liability event insurance. A list of past Insurance providers is listed on the preferred vendor page on the front page of this website. Please provide proof of insurance 60 days before the event.

Cancellation policy: A cancellation notice greater than four months prior to the event date results in a deduction of $400 from the deposit. A cancellation notice of less than four months prior to the event date results in the entire deposit being forfeited.

A booking will not be confirmed without a signed contract and deposit. The deposit will be refunded in full within 30 days following the event should the premises and grounds be left in their original condition of cleanliness and repair as specified in the rules and regulations.
